No kidding, it's not just my country that's winter.
My dog Henry is all about winter too!
And how lucky we are to live so close to a wonderful forest where Henry gets to go for walks every day . . .I'm lucky too, of course. Having Henry makes me much more likely to get out there!!
Here's a section of the forest trail, laden with snow:
Still lots of mountain ash berries . . .
And yes, I'm sure the robins will find them again in the spring: but in the meantime, the cardinals and chickadees and squirrels are also supplementing seed and nuts from our bird feeders with a little fruit:
Henry seems never to be cold, although he doesn't have his full golden retriever coat just yet!
Constantly with that black nose stuck into a snow drift . . . snuffling out the moles and mice that are cozy deep underneath!!
