Adjusting to my new normal

I'm adjusting to my new routines and role with helping my brother with his recovery from that heart attack that nearly took him from us.
I'm feeling a little better. I'm tired but I think the last 10 weeks finally caught up with me. That and colder weather. My body is screaming in pain from all ot has endured. Having a comfy bed is heavenly right now.
My ankle and right foot I injured are feeling better. The ankle bone area is still swollen but feeling better. It's not as painful to stand and walk although I have to be careful.
My son will hopefully be here early next week with some winter clothes. I have a pair of jeans and a couple t shirts and a lightweight hoodie. My September weather clothes. So I'm wearing my jeans when we go out but shorts otherwise. A bit chilly but I have blankets to wrap up in. I look forward to long sleeve thermal tees and my comfy yoga pants and sweats to relax in.
My brother is slowly getting stronger. He tires out easily. His cardiologist appointment is the 16th. He has an appointment next Wednesday with his vascular surgeon who cleared out his neck arteries. His allergy doctor made sure he had a pneumonia shot plus a plan in place during the winter flu and crud season.
So things are moving on. He still thinks he's going to drive to Florida on December 28th. My opinion is no way can he do that. We shall she what the cardiologist has to say the 16th.
Until things are resolved and my brother is feeling better and able to do more stuff on his own, I will be here. A nice change of pace. Missing my computer and genealogy research
