Friday and a great day.

Friday, December 06, 2019

Yes, today is a great day. no one calling about my computer. woo woo. Maybe the little fun yesterday paid off. But I am sure one of these days Peter, Daniel, or Michael will be dialing my number again, and we can catch up again. lol Now just to work on the Credit Card Interest people. lol

Today was a trip to the recycling center,a I can't believe all the cans, bottles, and got rid of a bunch of old magazines, and now I also need to go the Goodwill, as I have 2 huge garbage bags of coats to donate from the closets I cleaned out yesterday.. Even a couple of London Fog coats. they used to be a high end brand, don't even know if they even exist now. But they were all coats hubby and I no longer wear, just hope someone can use them, as they are all like new coats.

Foot is still not 100% but is better, at least I can actually move it without that excruciating pain. I have no idea what I did, but at my age, things like this just seem to pop up over night.
So maybe I will attempt a short walk this afternoon, as it is in the low 40's, and no wind, and rather nice out there. A little muddy, but that is nothing new, should be use to wearing boots while taking a walk. No side walks out here, just gravel and little of that. County is really stingy with it, and really don't seem to care that the ruts get so bad that the undercarriage rubs.. At least the last few springs have been that way.

I have no MISSIONS for today, Just going to do what pop up. So you all have a GET day, as the weekend is coming. Linda

We actually had sun here for most of the day. Got some errands done and like you just doing what ever pops up. Not worrying about anything.

Hope you enjoyed your day. The weekend is coming not that it matters, but it will be a busy one for us.

    Take care.

I'm happy to hear that your foot is better. Yesterday I had a cortisone shot for my knee which has helped so much. I must be walking different today because my heel is better too!

Sounds like the road my mom and my grandma used to live on in NC. We are talking serious ruts, lots of rocks, and an old spring that kept part of it always muddy or frozen. Once in awhile the apple grower up the hill would smooth it all out--until his trucks wore it out again. It was quite a hike down to the mailbox and then breathlessly back up. But the wildflowers at the sides were beautiful and there were lots of blackberries in the summer. One of Grandma's goldens loved blackberries. Pretty bad when you had to beat both the birds and the dog to the berries.

Congrats on no computer calls today. Hopefully you discouraged them for awhile. That was some really productive closet cleaning. Someone will appreciate those coats. Before the estate sale, I rounded up a lot of things to contribute. I went through my jewelry cabinet, got out shoes I can't/don't wear, one set of dishes, framed prints that I replaced with mom's paintings, a card table and 4 chairs, and other STUFF. Couldn't get husband to part with one thing.
