It's one of my character traits. Admittedly one I've always been proud of, but also one that has gotten me into trouble more times than I can count.
“The world is increasingly designed to depress us.
Happiness isn’t very good for the economy.
If we were happy with what we had,
why would we need more?
How do you sell an anti-ageing moisturizer?
You make someone worry about ageing.
How do you get people to vote for a political party?
You make them worry about immigration.
How do you get them to buy insurance?
By making them worry about everything….
To be calm becomes a kind of revolutionary act.
To be happy with your own non-upgraded existence.
To be comfortable with our messy, human selves,
would not be good for business.”

“Reasons To Stay Alive”
Let's defy this crazy-making world!
I had an unsettling day at work today. You see, I'm working a job I don't really like and I feel I'm not at all qualified for. Most of the time I feel like I'm in way over my head. However, I get to work from home most of the time and I get to travel here and there. So until somebody realizes that I'm a dud, I decided to just hang on and improvise. :)
So in defiance of the work blahs I went to a yoga class tonight. I haven't done yoga in ages and it felt great. DH went with me - his very first yoga experience. He can now confirm that it is a lot harder than it looks. Much fun!
Namaste y'all. I've got this!
