Yes, we ended up with about 7 inches of snow, and yes hubby got stuck in drive way, but he got the old van pulled our by himself, and instead of scooping bunks hubby just used the tractor and loader to clear off a place for the goats to eat, all except Footzer who would not walk in snow deeper that his ankles, and with 15 minutes of trying to coax him and not having any luck I just let him be, he will figure it out. I even walked several times in the snow to make a little path for him and Nope wouldn't do it. Guess, it will be a long winter for him if he doesn't realize that he is going to have to walk in snow. But did do a little scooping by the back door but that is it, Hubby will finish the rest with the tractor and loader.
S2 and DIL will be coming this even sometime, for the next 4 days, but they will be spending tomorrow at her dad's and brothers for dinner and the day, and we will be going to Larry's brother for the day. So I don't have to cook anything, and that means no left overs. bummers, love cold turkey, and all the fixens. So all I am doing for their visit, it to vacuum the carpets. I am sure that they will be bringing the granddogs, so it will be an active household.
Hoping you all will be celebrating Thanksgiving just like you want to spend it, but with this weather system going thru the country, I know that some will not be with loved ones. So enjoy your day. Linda
