Lately my only focus is to get in shape and lose weight to have a career as a Paramedic or the health care field. I have been fearful that I won't lose the weight in time for classes next August. I have also been fearful that no one is going to want to hire a 50 yo EMT or a 53 year old Paramedic.
Truthfully my focus has been all wrong. I need to health to
Reduce the amount of insulin I have to take.
Obtain BGL levels between 80 and 130
Have more stamina and peace to deal with the stresses of my security job.
To learn how to eat the right calories and carbs for the rest of my life.
To have the ability to spend more time with my friends and family.
To be able to feel comfortable walking down the street
Feel comfortable introducing myself to people.
So those are my goals from now on and if an EMT certificate comes along with it then so be it.
