When I saw this picture I just had to laugh - am at the age where I am seeing all that sagging skin and wrinkles - and with losing weight I will get more sagging skin but thankfully my medical will cover removal of all lose skin when I have lost all the weight.
Day 6 of no sugar no flour = drum roll please = have lost 7.3 pounds in 6 days ! ! ! ! I am so looking forward to Tuesday (it will be Day 8 but it is the day I started the program) to actually record my weight = wondering now if it is going to be close to 10 pounds = my guess it will be like 9.5 lost but will wait to see
Did well at the potluck supper tonight - so much good food - so much sugar and flour - but I stayed to my plan and had my beef stew that was complaint to my program. And because of that I believe I am going to be down in weight again tomorrow
Two things I have noticed today with being on this plan for 6 days. (1) today I noticed that my stomach / intestines were not hurting like they usually do = NSV as the sugar and flour is not there and the intestines are starting to heal (2) I seem to have more energy BUT I am having a few times during the day the feeling of needing to close my eyes as if I am tired. So I have taken the time to sit down, recline in my chair and just shut them - they aren't hurting just feeling the need to close as if I am tired. I have checked with the large facebook group and they tell me this seems to be normal with a lot of people - the brain getting rid of the fog - and it should be better around day .
Tomorrow one of my goals is to go back to the book BLE and read a bit more about the program - like a short refresher course after the first week. Reread what she shares about the brain and what sugar and flour do to it.
I am taking this one day at a time - am not thinking ahead as I don't know what that will bring - I just need to focus on the current day by staying on track.
3 things I am grateful for today are
(1) grateful that I was able to stay on track at our pot luck supper tonight
(2) grateful that we don't have snow yet - but it is coming soon
(3) grateful for to arms and hands which enable me to hold a book, make healthy food and many other tings
My streaks to date are
Day 6 of following no sugar no flour plan
Day 45 of blogging my journey
Day 50 of logging onto Sparkpeople
Day 50 of tracking all food and water
Day 50 of reading the Bible with my husband
