Challenge Day 49

Sunday, November 10, 2019

It is the coolest day of Casey's life so far. He didn't seem to mind at all though. I didn't either. We enjoyed our walk.

The grandkids are still at Girl Scout Camp Dorothy Thomas where I camped every year, sometimes weeks at a time, from age 7 to 14. I know they've had rain and cool. Hope they were prepared and are having a good experience. I have good memories of the beauty of nature and the beauty of friendships.

Going to have an active and productive day today. Hope you do, too!

Glad you and Casey continue to enjoy your walks!

And, expect the girls are making memories at camp just as you did.

    Enjoy your day!

Went back in your blogs to figure out what your challenge is. I can't participate in the walking outside 10 minutes, but I just started my streak of 10 minutes of exercise. I have only hills around to walk, which is a really good exercise, but in the winter ice and snow ( and my cold-sensitive asthma) hinder me.

Enjoyed seeing your talk of training your dog. We have a 20 month old Border Collie, and I've been going through some of the same as your story. She "gets" a new command with just a few tries, but you can see her decide whether or not she will do it. Just yesterday she was biting on the leash, something not very common now. In her case, she wasn't ready to come in the house yet, and this was just a "potty walk." I can see the mischievousness in her eyes. Tomorrow snow is predicted, so my goal is to get her outside today for a good walk. Exercise is essential for her breed, as it is with yours.

You two are doing a great job with the challenge! Enjoy your active day. My plan is to rake leaves and haul them to the compost area, as well as go for a run/walk when the temperatures are a little warmer.

You're doing great with this challenge! I can't remember... Is it for 100 days? Or 1,000 days?

I think cooler weather energizes the animals! I know Carl seems to grow extra springs. emoticon
