Another day will soon come to an end - and am feeling pretty good. I am somewhat amazed how easy this going sugar / flour free has been - thought the detox would be worse than it is - might be not so bad as I had eliminated a lot of sugar foods already - but now committing to the rest (such as processed sauces) and making sure I plan each night for the next day and then the measuring. It is working well so far and I can see I will be doing it on a regular basis as I like the results I am starting to see.
My plan today for supper was my go to chicken but 1/2 way through the afternoon hubby decided he really wanted hamburger. I thought about it - asked him how he was wanting to cook it and he told me, mentioned the changes that would make it fit may plan and he agreed so rather than the chicken for protein at supper I had 4 oz of hamburger, 8 oz of vegetables, 1 teaspoon of butter on vegetables and 4 oz of boiled potato. I feel good about it as it was still on plan.
Have my food plan written down for tomorrow - this week am trying to keep it as basic as possible in order to get the drift of just what a food day looks like. Tuesday will start a new week and in that week I will try one maybe two different suppers - different vegetables and possibly a soup and looking at getting some fresh salmon to try. On Tuesday I am planning to have 1 oz of the original shredded wheat with my breakfast so that will be a change - will be interested to see how that affects my weight if at all.
