D = Doctor Appointment
Saturday, November 09, 2019
The doctor visit is finally behind me and naturally the concerns I had regarding the unknowns were totally unnecessary. My blood pressure was sky high when I went in and that did not surprise me at all. The doctor is very kind and has a great sense of humor. We discussed what the test results were and what that meant before he offered out the options. He allowed me to choose an endometrial biopsy today or to wait and take care of the lab needs for the D&C. As I've had both of these before it was an easy decision. Go for the D&C. Not scheduled yet as I need to hear from his office.
One thing that came out of these past few weeks is that I made the right choice to try a new tool to align my day with God.
The company also sent a printable to use called 21 Days to Faithfulness and I am going to start on that Monday. Need the weekend to prepare everything. I will also need to spend time preparing the actual planner for January 1. They have some preparatory pages to focus everything. Word for the year and more. I have selected my word already and it is Believe.
I also spent time thinking through my nutrition and fitness needs and that will also be included in the above planner so I will be doing more intentional work on this over the weekend as well. All good things!
Once I got home from the doctor I could feel the anxiety lessening as I was having trouble staying focused and felt sleepy. I tried to do a few things for paid work, but finally gave in and took a long nap. Auggie joined me on the sofa and who knew...that little guy snores! LOL I then spent some time on the jigsaw puzzle and watched an episode of Criminal Minds.
Tonight has been watching the last couple of episodes of Longmire with Tim. They ended it well. Now we are watching BlackList that recorded tonight and then we're heading to bed.
Tomorrow Tim is going to do fencing with Wendell, Isaac will be with Patrick from 10-12:30 and I have a root color with Maegann at 10:30. She'll be gone most of the day between school and working 6-closing.
And for my football buddies....
Thursday night WIN! Hey Kellie, we're gaining on your Chiefs in the standings!
