"Today, connect with someone from a different generation"

Well, this is pretty much my everyday life at work - where I connect with people from 21-81 yrs old. Most of my colleagues are the next generation down from me - in other words, I could be their mother. A few of them are young enough to be my grandchildren.

I have great conversations with my younger colleagues - I'm lucky to have such a nice team of people to work with.

Some of my neighbours are a generation older than me - in their 80s and 90s. I have to say I find it easier to connect with people younger than me, rather than older than me. I suppose that's because I've lived through the younger years, and not through the older ones? Maybe?

I haven't connected with any new people today - I've been at work all day, and now I'm home.

I think younger people just have an enthusiasm that's contagious. HUGS and have a great weekend.

Same here Gill, I just don't connect with those older than me even though I am in my early 70's. I am not interested in the usual "senior's activities", I am not the knitting granny and I don't connect with the music and arts of the older generation. I just follow the beat of my own drum. Hope you had a successful run despite the rain and that you are not getting the torrential rain that has hit northern England.

    Great blog X

I have been lucky to connect with older people at my Zumba class today, after all we are all in it together before and during the class! Love it!
