I don't know what I did to my foot yesterday, but my it hurts when I put pressure on it and especially when I walk. The more I walk, the worse it gets. I thought it was gone this morning, till I walked down the stairs. Ow. Good thing I see my doctor on Friday!! I've got to make an ortho appointment too, I kept falling on my knee and scraped it bad too, and now it is popping worse than before. I have not seen him in a year, I didn't want another surgery. But, I need to get it taken care of.
Unfortunately that means no cardio today, just when I am feeling good enough to get some cardio. I have a high pain tolerance, but I'm not silly enough to do cardio on an injured foot. I'll do some strength training and floor pilates and stretching. Maybe make it a full body strength training day and get a good workout in that way. I can't use the recumbent bike we got for DH, I am short and it is too awkward for my legs, hurts my knee.
I've been feeling better mood-wise since Friday. Even though I was only getting about 3 hours of sleep a night. I got more than that last night, though I did wake up several times, I feel better for the extra sleep!! Yesterday I cleaned and set up my Aerogarden and made sure it still works - it does!! I'm so excited!! But in order to set it up I needed the space in the kitchen cleaned... so I cleaned and decluttered the whole kitchen. It looks so nice. Only a few more things to do to have it really clean (inside of oven and microwave and inside and out of fridge/freezer). I even sat on the floor and cleaned the cabinets. I even made it through all of church on Sunday!!
Today, if I can be on my foot long enough, I'm going to work on the Living Room. I have a list of things to do, and have done some of the things, like dusting the fan, just need to keep going with my long list. I'm wanting to get the 1st floor completely done before moving back to working on my office/craft room and bedroom. I got so caught up in my cleaning and working on my Aerogarden yesterday, I forgot to spend time sewing!! Though I did sit and relax for a few minutes every so often so I didn't get too exhausted from working so much. It was nice to be so productive. It is nice to be feeling mentally so much better. Even FIL noticed and mentioned it on Saturday.
Well, I'm off, my kids are still not out and getting breakfast and it has been almost an hour since I woke them. Sigh. Teenagers, LOL.
