Time with Isaac Today

Tuesday, November 05, 2019

That sort of sums up an overlying theme of my Bible study lessons today. We were in Luke 4-7 this week and hearing that as disciples of Christ we just have to keep choosing to follow Him in the mess and the tidy of life. I did some crying today through certain parts of the lesson. It was a good thing as my heart was receiving a lesson it needed today.

Isaac Update:
His leg pain is actually caused from the muscles and tendons stretching from the bone growth. Can't imagine why as he is now 6'3" and still growing! Good to know it is a temporary thing, but he needs to rest, ice and take ibuprofen.

Some have asked about his 1:1 aide at school and it is a love/hate situation. Nice to know he has someone there to help out as needed, but doesn't like having her hang around so closely. I need to talk with Mr. Dunn as he coordinates the aides and see if we can get her to be less intrusive on his independence by sitting where she can keep an eye out and not right next to him.

Maegann Update:
She should know tonight what's going to happen with the Taco Bell job. It was good for her to hear from this regional manager that he'd do anything he could to keep her on staff as he didn't want to lose his best employee. Sadly he can't just get rid of the two who are the issue for many. Politics in the workplace!

The boy front is quiet and that's a huge blessing as she just doesn't need that distraction. I'm still hearing from Tayler once in awhile and prayers are still needed for his Broken Heart Syndrome. Thankfully the bleeding through his coughing has stopped. Bet that was quite scary the first time it happened.
