Saturday and maybe mowing, again. Bummers.

Saturday, November 02, 2019

Well, the weekend is here, and with Hubby in the field I have nothing planned, but very seldom do we have things planned. So it will be just a usual day. On Saturday is my day of cleaning the Cpap so that take extra time in the morning. I do have the So Clean machine but I still once a week do a good cleaning with soap and water, and change all filters. I just feel better hand cleaning all of it once a week. Got the kits fed and they still are not up to eating their full amount they were eating, but Finns to clean it all up. Have to ck their incisions once a day and they all look good. And they are yet back to their playful selves. So it is kind of quite yet around here, but I do enjoy all the lap time they seem to crave.

This morning hubby reminded me about mowing the leave again. Oh Darn, I was hoping that he would forget about them, but nope the wind hasn't blew enough away and he noticed that there were a dozen or so in the yard. So hopefully it will warm up a tad this afternoon, cause I refuse to have to wear a winter coat, gloves, stocking cap and such just to mow the yard. I really need a little snow. lol

A new month, and going back to my old tracking again. For the last couple months I have gotten extra points by doing extra things on here, and it has just become to time consuming so I no longer am caring about points. After all, this is not about who gets the most points, it is about living life healthier and spending all that time making points I am going to spend that time getting up and moving. And I really question how some of these people here get 1000's of points in a day, there is no way that can be true, and I refuse to pad what I do to stay on top of the team point system. And I will enjoy the extra minutes in the day doing things that may help me reach my goals, cause I have to do it.

Better Shake a leg and GET at it. Linda

Glad the kitties are on the mend. Agree on the points. I used to spend a lot more time on them.

We got some snow yesterday that did not stick, but our maple leaves are too wet to mow/mulch yet.

Hope it was a decent day if you had to go out and be the Lawn Ranger.

We are hoping for no more mowing since we had so much snow on Halloween! But the snow is almost all gone.

I agree with you on the points. I do like to see them add up so I can give away goodies every now and then but to go through things just to get points is kind of a waste of time. Sorry about the mowing. We need to get more leaves up but it's been a bit drizzly around here - maybe tomorrow!

We are in the high 70's and sunny today. That said I remember mowing in full winter gear many times. I always enjoyed mowing as I felt as free as if I were riding a horse. Also with ear proctors on I did not hear request for me doing or finding things for hubby.
Glad the kitties are coming along. Lap cuddles are really great, especially when there is a chill in the house.
Enjoy the rest of your day.

I never pay attention to points. I just track my food and exercise daily. Whatever is extra is extra to me.

Hope you have a quiet and relaxing day. Mowing the lawn? Nahh I'll leave that to hubby.
