I know how to make a scene!

Wednesday, October 30, 2019

I had a total melt down in front of women I hardly even know in a bible study “it’s not supposed to be this way” I shared I needed prayers because my daughter is being hit on by 2 guys where she lives. Then there response are the “you should” have her move back home, start your own group home, be there every day before and after work to confront these guys to protect her. - then I lost it! The police can’t do anything about it until she’s assaulted. Nothing serenity can do as no rules have been broken. Cmh has not approved her CLS hours, the 2nd facilitator at disability network quit for her safety classes, the police was going to give self defense but no time, DHS denies her because too high functioning, tri county she has to be 55, independent living there are no financially affordable housing in our area, group homes are outside our town with waiting list, protective services report our home is not a safe environment for her to live in with her suicidal brother. And I walked out crying and exposed myself to more ridicule!

I am so sorry you are going thru all this, I am both shocked and saddened that a group at a Bible Study would be so inconsiderate with passing judgement and make a comment to you like they did, that should of never happened.. My heart goes out to you, I want you to know I am here for you and will keep this in much prayer. emoticon emoticon emoticon

emoticon emoticon emoticon You were in a "Perfect Storm" for a melt down. I'm surprised you haven't had one way before this. Unfortunately, humans are not perfect. They respond or react. I regret that they didn't think first and respond with prayer for you. I hope those women only lack in listening skills, empathy and compassion. If they reacted to your crying with condemnation or judgement, they poured hot coals on their own heads. I wouldn't want that on anyone! I hope they felt some shame and gained some understanding; to pray for you after you left.

Remember to take care of you. Rest, repair, refresh, regroup. I hope you get to take a walk outdoors and take in the beauty of this fall season.

So sorry that you have run into so many roadblocks. How inconsiderate of that person to comment (and pass judgement) of your situation.

I'm so sorry that you were not able to get the support you needed. It sounds like you are doing the best that you can for your family ❤️🙏 It is hard to be responsible and not get help from public services that are supposed to be there for you. ♥️♥️
