That was one of the main thoughts in the lessons I worked through today for the "Determined: Living Like Jesus in Every Moment" study. Tomorrow will be our first video session to go along with it.
I was thankful that even though our temps never got above 35 today (wind chill of 9 first thing this morning) that the house stayed pleasantly warm. Did not build a fire until about 7 tonight. It is supposed to be just a few degrees warmer tomorrow so hopefully the wind will stay away.
My day was 2 loads of laundry, finished client plan draft, checked email, finished the jigsaw puzzle, Bible study, Sparking and watching "Criminal Minds".
Here is the completed puzzle.
Once I switched from finishing the grass first to the building and working towards the bottom it fell together much easier. I have the next one out on the table to sort. Isaac chose from the two fall ones I haven't done yet.
I will enjoy having more color to work with this time! It also has more traditional pieces where the one I just did was mostly not interlocking.
No comment from Isaac today regarding the 1:1 aide so I am assuming it went smoother than yesterday. I have encouraged him to talk with her and get to know each other and helped him understand that she's on a learning curve right now as far as his schedule and the locations and doesn't know how he responds. He seemed to grasp that it will get better as they get more comfortable with each other.
Maegann had a great day at school and it is always wonderful when the talkative and laughing daughter is in the house. Two big things she was excited about were finding out she can apply for Level 2 on Nov. 19 as she missed the October opportunity and the student/photographer that did her photos last week asked her to consider being one of his studio models as she is so photogenic. Talk about a boost to her self-esteem! She told him she'd need our permission as some of his photos are a bit more risque, but he also takes wedding photos, etc. It would be an amazing opportunity for her.
Tomorrow.... ladies Bible study and then home. Maegann will be at school and then working from 6 to close (may be able to get off at 11 which would be nice). Isaac has open gym in the evening IF he decides to go.
