The Bermuda Triangle

Tuesday, October 29, 2019

We lost power Saturday night and just got it back yesterday afternoon (though they're saying they "may" cut us off again). Internet only came back up a few minutes ago. My cell service also went out with the power. My roomie's husband has the perfect explanation: he says the power company is in the stranglehold of people of my political persuasion, and that they spent too much on diversity, climate change "and all that crap." My tongue looks like cheesecloth, I've bitten it so often. Meantime, I couldn't read, watch TV or knit (not enough light). I also managed to break the pair of size 5 Radiant Wood knitting needles that I'm using to knit the Christmas stockings for my niece's three kids. And roomie's husband has talked about staying in the room with us, which apparently the rules allow! Can anyone sneak me a well-disguised bottle of booze?

Almost unbelievable. I would never put up with it if it were to happen.. Surely there is someone this could be reported to if it did.

He needs to stay in his own room.
    Stay safe.

HOLY ridiculousness! It is all right if the husband wants to stay w/his wife, but THEY should have their OWN ROOM! Either they stay in your room and you get a single room or they get a different room. Lord.

OMG - if your roomie's husband want to stay with her, then they should be put in another room, or you should be shifted to a single room. I think those rules are totally inappropriate when his wife is in a shared room.

It sounds like he would drive ME up the wall - I can sure see how it would affect you ... you can't get out of bed and escape.

    Hugs xxx
