Progress and hopes for the rest of the year

This week for the Aspire & Inspire's November Buddy Support Group Challenge. We had a choice of blogging about accomplishments this year/hopes for the rest of the year or National Color Day or blog about what we want.. I chose to blog about the first option.
Now that we're in the 4th quarter of the year what have you accomplished? What do hope to accomplish before the end of the year? I've been doing well with shedding unwanted pounds/fat from my body. My weight hasn't gone down much but since June of this year I have shed 4 inches inches from my waist, two inches from my chest and legs, as well as a half an inch from my arms and hips. Everything was going great until my trainer had me run up and down some stairs outside of the Y multiple times about a month ago. Two years ago, I tore my Abductor muscle in my right leg. I had a bruise from my hip down to my knee on the outside of my right leg. Running up and down those stairs so many times seems to have irritated that muscle. It's been getting better and then.......last week my trainer had me put one of those elastic exercise leg bands around my lower legs just below the knee and had me jumping my legs in and out like jumping jacks. On the 8th or 9th jump, my knee popped and I was in instant pain! Somehow I managed not to cry!
They had some instant ice packs that are for one use only. The funny thing is that the pain was mostly behind me knee. I put an ice pack on my knee and behind my knee.
After a few minutes it was feeling better. I was able to put weight on it and walk around. Then as I was leaving my knee gave out on my slightly. Once I got home and rested a little the pain really started to get bad. That was last Friday. I couldn't get an appointment with my doctor until Monday. I didn't think Urgent Care would be able to do anything for me so I opted to wait to see the doctor. It's been snowing off and on since Sunday night and had to reschedule my doctor's appointment 'til Thursday. My knee is feeling better but still gives out on me if I turn my leg a certain way and bend it. Hoping I won't have to have surgery because the symptoms sound like I tore my ACL.
Assuming I don't have to have surgery, I would like to go back to the Y and continue water walking as well as training with my trainer. Making sure all of my exercises are low impact though. I would like to get my weight down another 5 lbs before the end of the year at a minimum, take a couple of inches or more off of my waist and chest, at least an inch or more off of each of my arms, hips and legs.
Until I know what is going on with my knee I am not going back to the Y. However, I'm getting a good workout using crutches to get around as well as climbing up the 13 or so steps to go up to my home office backwards with my arms and one leg as well as gently sliding down the stairs to go to the kitchen. Thankfully, hubby has been working from home so he can help me do things.
