Galaxy toddler tie is finished!! I'm almost done with the next one and am hoping to get the blue fading one (from dark to light blue) done today as well, to get in the mail. I'll at least get two done to mail. Little cousin's birthday is soon and he needs a tie to wear in his picture!! I'm so glad to be able to make them for him. I posted in on FB to show my BFF and to show cousin so she could decide if she wanted the Galaxy tie or not along with the other ties I'm making for little cousin. He's so cute, he has a pair of cowboy boots and he loves to go stomping around in them!!
I've been awake since 2 AM. I did get up and read for about 40 minutes and then went back to bed. No luck. Got up around 5 and took a shower and got Hope up because she heard me and was barking for me to come get her.
Today is planning day for the next week, but it is also thrift shopping day for clothes for me and the girls, yay!! We are going to go to a few different of my favorite thrift stores, out to eat for lunch probably (will have to be careful with my calories!!), and then to buy winter coats and thicker hoodies for the girls if we don't find them at the thrift stores. One place we are going is a bargain store and I'm hoping they have coats because they will be so much cheaper there.
Today is my longer cardio day, and I have 30 minutes written down, but... I think I can do more than that. It will be after we come home from shopping, so I may be too tired to do more, but I think I'm going to turn on my podcast I listen to and set it up where I can play more than one easily, and I'll just walk for as long as I'm comfortable doing so. I'll up my stretching/yoga as well, so I don't get sore, or too sore, lol. I'll have to pay extra attention to my body to make sure I don't overdo it as well. Today is total body workout for strength training, just the way the routine worked out... will have to work a better routine for next week. Don't want to do total body on my longer cardio days. Hmmm. Will have to think.
Also trying to think of how to plan the after school routine so that my girls get exercise in after school. Neither of them have gym, so they don't get any exercise other than walking to and from the bus stop. So NEED to get them working out 3-5 days a week. Will be difficult this week, we have a lot going on, but after Halloween things will return to normal as it can be with 2 major 'lazy' holidays coming up, lol. I consider them 'lazy' holidays because we tend to just sit around for days with family talking and enjoying company. While this can be good, getting time with family, I have to remind myself not to be lazy myself during these times and get out and walk and exercise. Will be hard when at family's over Thanksgiving, and Christmas day it's not going to happen, but I'm working out what I can do and hoping I stick to it!!
