My family had plans to visit my favorite burger joint, Kua'aina, and since I only get to eat this once a year I wasn't about to pass it up. They have my favorite fries in the entire world! I can usually resist any and all candy and chocolate, but french fries are my kryptonite.
I prepared by drinking only a fruit and veggie smoothie for breakfast.
At Kua'aina, I split a cheeseburger with my mom (I could have done without the cheese but she wanted cheese, and it would have been a waste for us to order two separate burgers and each only eat half). I also ordered unsweetened iced tea with lemon rather than a soda. Then I indulged in my favorite fries in the entire world!
For dinner we're having low-fat yosenabe leftovers, and I'll avoid the chicken and beef in favor of veggies and tofu, as well as drinking that delicious broth. I also tend not to eat yosenabe with rice, so that'll be even less calories. I think I'll be able to stay within my calorie range for today.
I also took a 60 minute walk today (since I ran yesterday) and tomorrow is another run day.
I don't intend to indulge too often, but I hope to get better and better at compensation the times when I do.
I'm pretty happy today since I got to eat my favorite fries in the entire world!!!!
