Yes, I Count My Chips! Haaaa :)

I get to have 12 chips! I love potato chips, and they LOVE all the wrong places, of course! Haaa :). That's okay, though, I don't have to give them up, completely, just put them in their place, with good healthy boundaries and limits.

I have successfully tracked my food and water for 18 days, yay! So proud of myself!

One great thing I always notice when I track food, is...I am VERY cognizant and aware of what I am putting in my mouth. Too many carbs, for sure...aka "comfort carbs".

I have to admit, I live in a highly emotionally stressful state because of the granddaughters and their constant over-the-top emotions and mood swings. Do I really have to threaten to take stuff away, just to get the "Lovelies" out of bed in the morning? Seriously... it's so old!

It's like they want to fight...with EVERYONE, constantly. One teen and one pre-teen. The hormones are raging! Don't get sucked into the VORTEX!!!!!

No wonder I need comfort! Sheesh!

This too shall pass, I know. Thank God, my husband and I are healthy enough to raise them, but he is on his second heart attack in two years and I pray this is the end of those!

Gotta keep on keepin' on and keep lookin' up!

    Portion control allows us to keep everything in our menu. I struggle with emotional eating too. But as long as I know I will be tracking everything, it helps me slow down the comfort eating.
