Day 30 (1 month) of making changes / 3 things I am grateful for today (October 19 2019)
Tuesday, October 22, 2019
As I am from Canada have been watching our elections - it is now 9:30 pm and it is not going the way I had prayed for. My prayer is that this government will take time to reflect on the fact that Canada was formed re Christian beliefs but has strayed so far from it - prayer is that they will really look at the direction they are taking this beautiful country.
Have just bought some new bread - Carb Wise Bread - from our Health Store (frozen department) - it is very tasty, gluten free, 2 slices = 1 serving with 120 calories. Here is a picture of the front of the bag and the back so you can have a look at it. Consider checking out your Health Food Store for it.
Am taking 4 cups of vegetables to my TOPS meeting tomorrow - as the leader is not sure if most of the ladies realize that if they were to eat just raw vegetables how much they should be having. 4 cups raw OR 2 cooked OR a combination of both. My husband was surprised to see 4 cups raw that I should be eating.
I am on Day 30 of making changes / starting over on my plan to get healthy. I am so glad I decided to start over - new account here / new Sparkpage. I am feeling better, my focus is on all part of my life not just one or the other. A bit sad that the scale is not really joining me on the changes but I know it will eventually as I tweek my food plan some more. Everyone is a bit different and that is way we all need to find what works best for us to release the weight.
Three things I am grateful for today are
(1) grateful that I live in a country where we can vote for our government officials
(2) grateful that the vertigo seems much better
(3) grateful that I know how to read as I so enjoy doing so
My streaks so far
2 days not eating after 6:30 pm
28 days of blogging my journey here on Sparkpeople with 3 things I am grateful for
30 days of logging on to Sparkpeople
30 days of tracking all my food and water
30 days of reading the Bible with my husband - just about finished the Book of Esther
