That's how it was billed. Only the fourth time parliament has sat on a Saturday since WW2. All in all, it was in many ways a bit of a damp squib. Now we watch and wait as the latest shenanigans continue. Huge turn out for the anti Brexit march though. As usual. Bored of Brexit? Me too. But it will trundle on. Waiting to see now the EU response to Alexander Boris de pfeffel Johnson's latest attempt to stymie the UK government. There are many things I could tell you about Alexander Boris de pfeffel Johnson. He's a liar, a cheat, a bully, and doesn't give a flying one about democracy. And yes, I can substantiate those claims.
Meanwhile, it was a Super Saturday in another way. Andy Murray reached the final of the European Open. I know it's a relatively small tournament but it's great to see him back. Tennis fans watch and enjoy because there was some good quality stuff from both players. Non tennis fans [apparently there are some] whiz though to the last couple of minutes.
