Day 27 of my journey 3 things I am grateful for today (October 18 2019)

Have just about completed one month since restarting my journey here on Sparkpeople. Though the scale is not really moving at all I am making progress with changes to my lifestyle. My thoughts are not just focused on food but on all areas of my life to make sure everything is well balanced. And I have made small changes in all areas.
Have started the process of roasting vegetables working on finding the right combination of spices on them for our taste. Am going to soon start incorporating some different squash as both of us are not fond of them but think if I find a way to cook them that we would enjoy will help
I am enjoying my new paper journal as it is just the right size and holds all necessary information. Think when the week is up (it goes from Wednesday to Tuesday I will take a picture showing what I had eaten with the start weight for the week and what it was at the end so that I have a record of it. I use this new paper journal for our TOPS meeting.
Three things I am grateful for today are
(1) grateful for great neighbors
(2) grateful for our small care group from church
(3) grateful for the beautiful mountains that surround the city
