My Dad always had music playing in our home. I grew up hearing all types of music. Mills Brothers, Benny Goodman. All the band music. Dean Martin etc. Out of all the music I listened to, Mills Brothers were my favorite. They were way before my time, but that didn't matter.
Here is one of the earliest videos. I couldn't get the link to work, so you will have to look it up manually. www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q_Knzw
In my generation, Linda Ronstadt was my favorite. My Dad considered my music "thump thump music" When Linda recorded the Ball Room Music my Dad was thrilled. He told me
"I didn't think I would ever own a CD by Linda Ronstadt" lol..She could sing anything.
My Dad..Donald Lee Hickok. 1913-2002..
2nd Cousin to Wild Bill Hickok twice removed..I sure miss him, but so many good memories.
