It is so easy to fall back into past bad habits. I felt I was doing OK limiting my food intake, tracking my food, playing occasional games of bowls and golf but the scales and the tape tell a different story and I have gained weight in the past two weeks. In retrospect I believe I am underestimating the food intake tracking, while overestimating the value of the exercising. Not to panic Mr Mannering. I will get back to what was working well previously and I'm sure to get back on track again. It is not difficult to find motivating articles written by Sparkies who have been there, done that, to invigorate me rather than become disheartened. No gain without pain, on we go in life's journey.
