Fading Fall - 10-16-19

There are still a few spots where you can wander through a forest of brilliant foliage:

Noah Wetzel, a professional photographer, found it above, and at sunrise up on Buffalo Pass:

Anita Merrigan found it in the Sarvis Creek Wilderness Area (one of my favorite places to hike during the color change):

John Hoover found the Wild Rose trail on Emerald Mountain painted in gold:

And Jeff Hall struck gold on the Mad Creek Trail:

And at Bear Lake in the Flat Tops Wilderness Area:

The snow we had last week put an end to much of the color, so it's nice to still find small pockets of fall!
