Tuesday and going to keep busy.

Tuesday, October 15, 2019

Another nice fall day here, but is cloudy, and not so warm as yesterday. Hubby left a few minutes ago to help his brother combine beans. He loves it, and I am so glad that his brother still needs his help. But he does love being retired, actually almost to much. Me, as soon as my soap is done and I am done here I am going out the dig some more of those potatoes, I am not saying I will get them all dug, as I have to watch out for the back, so taking it easy. this morning I also got the appointment make for Shorty and Kinney, Not until Halloween day, I said nothing before and nope that is the earliest appointment. I am taking them to the small animal vet. instead of our reg vet, I think the small animal vet is better with small animals, and I always took my pet to this clinic though out the years, and they always have been very caring to the furry family members.

The last few day I have had the urge to bake, but so far I have resisted, I am so craving something fresh baked, and the freezer is plumb bake goods free and has been for several months.. Usually I have something in there, but nope, all gone. It is just better if I don't get started, cause once I get on a roll, it won't be long and that freezer will have many choices to choose from, and I really don't need any of it. And I don't want those 5 lbs back.

Well, soap is almost over and I still have a couple of things to do on here, so I better scoot, so take care and have a GET day. Linda

I hope your vet is $ less than here. Fifty per animal to walk in the door and then everything is al-acarte.
Miss my country vet. No frills just good care.

That is the only thing I miss about work. I could bake, leave 4 pieces at home and take the rest to work, knowing that it would all be gone by noon!

I understand about the baking. When I went gluten free 3 1/2 yrs. ago, it sure helped stay away from baked goods. Back then in early days not too many gluten free baked goods available. Now they're lots of choices. I have to wear blinders down those isles. Stay strong ....keep those 5 pounds off. Sweets, ice cream and chips are what cause instant weight gain...at least it does to me!
I record my soap -General Hospital every day. I can watch it later when I can relax more and not be interrupted.
    Have a good week.

I know it's hard when you like to bake. Right now I was contemplating making an apple crisp. By now I've would of already been at the orchard and have made some by now. But like you I don't want those 5 lbs back either, so no not today for the apple crisp.

Just enjoying the day as best we can, going to be busy from Thursday on. Take care and I hope you get those potatoes dug out today.
