visit with DS went great

Tuesday, October 15, 2019

good Morning - DS came with DGD- no wife. We had a wonderful visit. My son was calm and was having nice conversation. What I got from him, that he is going to continue to work on him. Wife will not go to couple counseling - she is working on herself w/o counseling. So who knows and who even cares at this point. I told him that dad and I need this vacation badly and I pray and hope this time is peaceful for you, too. you deserve to have a wonderful life. His appt for his ear is 21 - I told him to send a text to us and tell us the results of the visit. If another surgery is needed - schedule it for when we come back. He said he would. He says he can not hear out of the ear now - he thinks it is due to surgery and stitches. Every time I see my son - I say a little prayer to give him peace. He has had so many obstacles since Iraq. He is not even 30 yet. I wonder if I could take what he has endured or going to endure. I am not that brave or courageous. He did say that he is going to spend much time with our home when we are gone. It is peaceful for him. DGD is really wonderful. he says he is going to Trick or Treat with his daughter in our neighborhood. That is great to hear. have a good day! I will! emoticon emoticon

Good to hear son is doing better. The after effects of war and terrible. I am so glad he is continuing with his counseling.

(((((HUGS))))) So sorry to hear that your DS can't hear out of that ear. **SIGH** So frustrating. Glad he seemed calm, though, and is determined to work on himself. That's great.

    Hugs and prayers for y'all!
