Haven't finished Day 20 Challenge as far as I am concerned, although I did get far more than 10 minutes of exercise this morning. I tried to run the Double Down 5k. After 2 run intervals I decided to walk it and that's what I did. (Pulled a glute muscle. Would you believe I pulled the glute muscle doing PT for my back?!!) I didn't finish last, but I did finish. It was our coolest day so far this season, 68 degrees when we started. Just beautiful! We ran between 2 lakes and over a bridge. The medal shows an alligator under the bridge and there could have been one today, but I didn't see one. Did see lots of birds and fast runners, all looking healthy and beautiful.
So it is time for me to go walk the dog so both Casey and I can complete our challenge day 20. Didn't weigh this morning but I didn't feel bloated or too big during the race, although I indulged in some post race food and will need to be careful with eating the rest of the day. I can do it!
If I had known I would have to walk I probably would not have signed up for the DD5k, but I'm glad I did it.
