Miss Running

About 8 years ago started walking which lead to running. I was amazed how I liked it. Did track and soccer in school but never loved track, running just to run was okay. But 8 years ago it helped make me a better person: I was happier, I was less stressed, I was enjoying life and running races and my Adrenaline made me feel awesome. Married and my son later and 2 step children. I am struggling to get back in it. Not getting the same β€œhigh” I was before. I am slower. I cannot find shoes the fit. I feel Defeated. I sign up for races hoping it will click, times are bad, don’t have kick at the end, or the adrenaline rush at the beginning. πŸ˜•
