My team the Shooting Stars has mini challenges every week called Stardust & Glitter. Here is our challenges for this week.

Saturday - Mindful Pause:
Sunday: 15 minutes of “Me” time
Monday: 15 extra minutes of exercise
Tuesday: Make a list of 10 things you are grateful for and why
Wednesday: Random act of kindness
Thursday: Do 15 bicep curls
Friday: Share a fond memory in the Galaxy Room

So today was to do a random act of kindness. My sister and I went to the grocery store earlier this evening. A lady in line in front of us did not have quite enough cash to pay for her groceries so we paid the difference. Now it was only about 10 dollars but it still felt good and it made all the difference to her.

Today was my second day back at physical therapy. It felt really good. I had a really bad headache but that is because I am still not eating enough (imagine that LOL). Anyway they added walking to my routine today. I managed to do 6 minutes. It was very slow going but I still made it twice around the track and we were all pleasantly surprised.

Saturday is our next weigh-in. I am curious to see how it will go. After 2 weeks of eating little to no food and now I am eating again even though it is not alot I am worried I will gain some of the weight I lost back. But I am trying to remain positive and not going to step on the scales until Saturday. I do not want to stress about it.

Tomorrow I am making a batch of fake Chicken fried rice. It is not actually fried. It is healthy and made with brown rice instead of white rice. Husband and I both really like it.

Enough musings from me for now.

    Love stir fry using brown rice. Makes for a nice nutty flavor to it. Great that you are able to start walking again. Yay. No stress, just keep pluggin away! emoticon emoticon emoticon
