Today I did 2 loads of laundry. One was my older son's as he had an overflowing dirty cloths hamper and the other was towels and such. I then went to gym and did 30 minutes on the bike. I went to store and bought a few items that I like to pick up at Aldi's. I had to pick up son after school as he is joining the Anime Club. Although he didn't go to gym tonight as still has hurt knees, I went to the water fit class. I was happy I was able to get all that done. Had a fairly good night's sleep and didn't fall asleep watching tv.
My son is getting really upset with math and when he failed a test today he said he would hurt himself if he fails and doesn't graduate. The teacher heard and reported it so the councilor talked to him and then called me. I talked to him on way home and he is ok as just said it in the heat of the moment. We might have to change his graduation plan but I don't think he is in danger of not graduating. But at least he has agreed to go to tutoring after school in the classes he is not doing well in. I had tried to get him to study some and go to tutoring but wasn't doing it so hope that the talk with his councilor helped.
I had another job today and I'm not too happy with my older son but since he isn't here he will miss my anger for the most part. He has a trash can that is behind the door when the door is open. I checked to see if I should empty it. He had it piled up about a foot or more above the top of the trash can and a lot of it was used tissues. I got a big bag and got it all thrown away but I will never go very long without checking it again. I get after my younger son all the time but he doesn't hide it or keep it in one place but throws his trash everywhere. Is this mostly a male thing?
Hope you had a great day and sleep well my friends.

So sorry about the issue w/younger son. BTDT w/my DS (he's 27 and here I stand -- we both survived those teen years. I believe in miracles!) As for the messiness -- my DS wasn't bad. It was the DD! She's now 24 and living on her own. Lord, there were times I couldn't even open her door for all the junk she had on her floor. I always said, "YOu watch. When you have your own place, you're going to respect it and keep it tidy." Yup . . . it's neat as a pin. So . . . there is hope, eventually!

HUGS Hope your DS does well w/tutoring. My DS did.

A very busy day. Hope younger son will find a tutor he likes to get some help with his classes. DGD is 11 and in the 6th grade and just about every night it's a battle royal about math and science. The trash can...it's not a male thing, it's a kid thing. DGD won't empty the trash until I start to nag. They do grow up...eventually.

It's nice that you are sleeping better. Hope you have a good tomorrow. emoticon
