Falling

Wednesday, October 09, 2019

I can feel myself starting to fall off the wagon like I've done so many times in the past. The difference between now and then is I'm still here. I'm blogging about it. I'm researching new workouts to try on YouTube. I'm making new playlists for my workouts. I'm still exercising, it's just slipped to later in the day when I can force myself to get active. Tomorrow is a new day. I WILL keep going. I will reevaluate my sleep and macronutrients and see if there is something I can improve for energy levels. I will not quit this time!

Protein, my Sweet .... Protein! A lot of days this month it has been very low. That will deplete a lot of energy. I'm really pleased that you are listening to your body and analyzing. That is half the battle. You might find having some hard boiled eggs in your fridge and having one for snacks will help with that, as would having a few nuts.

We’ve all fallen off the wagon somewhere along the way. I fell off because I got tired of the work it takes to make a healthy journey work. I kept hearing myself say I don’t care.

When I tried to get going again, I found it difficult to get a streak going. Add fiber supplement help me get through the late afternoon and evening hours.

I learned to answer I don’t care into: Yes, you do care. You always care tomorrow you just don’t care now. Remember how you felt the day before starting and the day after starting.
