Have you ever wondered about Heaven

Tuesday, October 08, 2019

Ever wonder why things happen to us? Why we have to have an operation? Why we have to have pain? Why we have to lose a mate of a baby, yet not born? Why some of us get cancer? Others get different diseases and yet still others never have seen an operation in their life? Are we being punished for the life we are leading? Nobody has any answers.

On the other hand wonderful things have happened like miracles. Some one liv

ing after cancer. Some one saved after a heart attack to continue to live their life. Their heart starts beating. A baby being born from a mans seed.

Some people believe in God and others not. Somethings are right in front of your eyes and yet you are blind to see them. Think about it. How can a baby be born from a man's seed? How can that baby grow in a woman's stomach for 9 months? It is a miracle only created by God.

Do we wonder why we have all these crosses? Why our mate has to leave us? Why we have to suffer in this world? Many times I have asked a priest and he has no answers. So who can you go to for answers? We pray to God and ask him why me? Still no answer comes.

People wrote books about dying and seeing Heaven. You wonder if it is true or if they are just trying to sell a book. The closest I have come to knowing there is a heaven is when my mother died and I asked her who she was talking too when she was near the end. She told me it was her mother at the foot of the bed.She was coming to take her to heaven.

My dil's mother's last words her daughter heard were, "Oh how beautiful it is here," and then she was gone.

So there has to be a heaven with all these miracles and people seeing an image of a loved one. After my mother died I was hanging clothes outside and I saw her in her apron standing there like a live person looking at me. It was scary and as I moved closer she disapeared and I never saw her again. This is a few days after she passed.

There is a better world up there in the sky but before we get to it we have crosses to bear.

what a beautiful Post. I had a best friend die in college. She was a beautiful girl. Straight A student. She had her beautiful hair cut near the end of her life to a ridiculously short length. She didn't care that she cut it that short. I am the type that I would have cried and complained about all day long. She wasn't like that. She was a beautiful girl but the stylist didn't even layer it and it was super thick, but gorgeous hair. She said she was going to grow it out again. She died in a car accident when she went home to visit her parents. The man driving the car was on cocaine and drunk and going 80 miles an hour. It was a 45 mile speed limit. If she wore a crash helmet she wouldn't have not survived. The street intersection frequently had accidents. There was the bend in the road where you cannot see what is coming. After Jenny, it has a light now.
anyway, a few days after or maybe a week, I was in my dorm room sleeping in my bed, and she was standing at the end of it. She had her short hair still. She was smiling at me. It scared me to death. I didn't move. She wasn't there long. To this day, I thought it was my imagination. I am so thankful you shared your story.

Someone recommended a book. I will too.

I've heard when people are asked what they would take to a deserted island, the answer is often The Bible.
It truly is God's word. There is so much information in His word. He keeps His word. He also keeps His promises.

    Hi,

Beautiful experience you had with your mother. Lovely.

I truly recommend you read a book by Paramahansa Yogananda. The book is called: "Autobiography of a Yogi" and I think you can find it at the public library in your area. You might be surprised to find some of the answers in that book. It was written in the '40s.
