Went bowling Saturday night. It did not go well. Wrist was hurting, so I backed off using the 13 pound ball I usually throw., opting for a 11 pounder. Only got a 75 in the first game, couldn't pick up any spares. By the middle of the second game, I was down to using a 6 pound ball, just flinging it down the alley with good speed (22.2 mph on my fastest throw!), but not all that much accuracy. Managed to scrape my way to a 103, but it took me until the last roll to get there.
The wrist has been occasionally aching while playing pickleball, albeit in a different way, with the bone running from the wrist to the index finger (2nd metacarpal, I think?) the offending party. But this was the first time I'd felt any real pain there in the joint. Then again, I've played pickleball on Sunday and Monday without any further issues, and my game has a lot of wrist action in it. So...I'm just going to not worry about it until it gives me something to worry about.
