I had weighed myself on Saturday for the start of the 5% challenge group and I was at 200#. This morning I decided to check weight again..even though we don't officially have to weigh in until next Saturday. Well this morning I was pleasantly surprised when the scale said 197.2#.
Of course I realize that any weightloss right now is just because I am sick. Doesn't everyone just naturally lose weight when they feel sick? I ain't walking or doing yoga as much as usual, but I am not eating as much as usual either. Actually my favorite activity this last weekend was laying in bed...either sleeping or awake playing candy crush on my tablet. But I will be super happy if my body continues to lose weight like this for the rest of the week.
That's how Fitbit calculated my sleep for last night. Sleep is a good thing when you feel sick; most articles online will tell you that a lack of sleep will affect your immune system. Lack of sleep can also affect how fast you recover. My sleep time is hardly ever as long as most health articles reccomend..in fact I took a generic pain reliever PM, and still slept less than 7 hours. Isn't 7 hours supposed to be considered normal sleep (without a pill)?
Well today is a workday...so yes, I will be taking my cough to the store at 2pm.
And Yes I found 2 different kinds of tea in my kitchen cupboard and will bring some into work with me today.
So glad that we get 2 new employees starting on Wednesday.
