Sunday, and a busy morning.

Sunday, October 06, 2019

Hope you all are having a great Sunday, and don't forget some ME time. It's been a busy morning here, as those kitten made a real mess with the plants and I have dirt all over the carpet, so got to take care of that and rearrange the plants so they can't knock them off the ledge. I should have known that wasn't going to work. Then it seems like our big patio in the front of the house is a leaf magnet, as I think every leaf that has fallen here has ended up there, and also need to finish putting the patio set in the corner of the patio for the winter. And then Larry informed me that he needed his, no not his favorite shirts washed, no this time it was his sweat shirts. So my morning was a busy one, plants are secure, I hope, carpet is all vacuumed, patio all swept for the time being, hubby's sweat shirt and his shirts are all done and put away, and dinner (lunch) is long passed and now I can log on here and find out what you all are doing today.

I have to let you all know that hubby really was not to upset with me for moving his elliptical and my plants taking over the living room, and everything. It is just that I guess he doesn't handle change to well. He should know by now that I totally move furniture all the time, and next week it will probably be in a totally different spot. And yes, I did put a little table by his machine and on it now set a clock and room for the TV remote while he is working out. So all is taken care of. So he will adjust, just long enough for me to move it again. lol Like my Ex, always said, "Can't walk around here in the dark, as you never know where the furniture is." and I am still that way.

Did get some good news to share, I don't know when the last time I weighed but I remember how much it was, and for some unknown reason I decided to weigh myself this morning, and I don't know how, but somewhere along the line I have lost 5 pounds. Guess, it must be all the veggies and fruit I have been eating instead of the potatoes, and haven't had pasta since I don't know when, and switched to only whole grain bread. That is the only differences. But that is a GOOD THING.

Well, it is Sunday so I do believe I will finish the laundry and call it a day, except for supper, (Dinner) and that is going to be breakfast for supper. We both like that, and usually on Sunday that is what I fix. Eggs, sausage, and toast, yum, simple but oh so delish. So you all have and good afternoon and don't forget so ME TIME. Linda

Hey, I used to change the furniture around all the time too but this house doesn't lend itself to that. I smiled when you said you changed the room and thought hope Larry looks before he sits because the sofa/chair might not be there anymore!!

Way to go on those missing 5 lbs. I used to do a lot of rearranging in my previous house; this one doesn't lend itself to much variety, but I like it anyway. In spite of a down day yesterday, I got a lot done in bits and pieces. Tidied the kitchen and ran the dishwasher, did a load of laundry, made myself some chicken soup comfort food, fixed a 9x13 of eggplant casserole, watched Poldark with husband, and went to bed early. I never make the eggplant casserole exactly the same, and even with forgetting to add the squash, it turned out even better than usual. Now what did I do different??

    Congrats on the weight loss.

I'm one that isn't big on change either, so I completely understand where your hubby is coming from.

My step-sister was rearranging my house all the time when she lived with me. The new house is less than half the size of the old one. The big pieces of furniture will only fit in certain places, so the only re-arranging that happens now is to the lamps and decorations.

I enjoy breakfast for supper. Delicious, easy, and somehow so cozy and comfortable. Now I'm going to nag you...are you going to buy those special lights to combat the S.A.D. this winter? I remember how wrung out you were last year. 😲

I love breakfast for dinner. Hubby and I also do that maybe once a week. You sure have been one busy beaver haven't you? I am sure you have earn all your exercise time plus more. You really don't realize how you do until you stop.

Take care and I hope the kittens stay away from the plants. I never had any luck with that when I had a cat and plants. I just got rid of the plants.

My husband says the same thing but not because I move the furniture - I tend to leave things in odd places! Good job on the weight loss!

LOL, I used to move furniture all the time. Somewhere along the way I stopped. I even at one point moved entire rooms, switching the living room and master bedroom, then the dining room became the livingroom and the living room a children's play room. So when your DH complains you can tell him to be thankful!
