Day 4

So I’m blogging about Thursday. I ate according to plan until about 8 p.m. when I started having cravings. I gave in and went to the kitchen opening the fridge and the cupboards. I had to settle for a slice cheese and an iced club soda. What I would have liked to have was a turkey & swiss sandwich but I was out of bread. My mind also thought about a slice of pound cake with vanilla ice cream. If I had any of them in the house I would have indulged.
I didn’t exercise.
I’ve been enjoying the world championship of track & field. The Bahamas won a gold medal in the men’s 400m & a silver in the women’s 400m. We are ecstatic.
So the journey continues.

    Giving in to cravings with a bit of cheese and club soda sounds mighty smart to me, my friend.
    And, very smart not keeping the cake and ice cream in the house!
    Remember cravings come and go...try five looooong slow deep breaths or a walk around the block.
