5% Challenge: Accountable

Being accountable is more than just being responsible for something—it's also, ultimately being answerable for your actions. To hold yourself accountable, you must find the motivation to do difficult things. Don't just set it and forget it, when it comes to any goal that you want. Remind yourself regularly, why this goal is can even use a motivation quote as a screen saver for your phone and laptop.

Set realistic expectations
Stop procrastinating
Overcome excuses
Picking yourself up after failure
Choose rewards that help support other healthy goals

Find a partner. Once you set a goal, it’s important to find other like-minded people for accountability. Luckily I found a "Fall 5%Challenge" group here on Sparkpeople, and am now a WEIGHT WARRIOR!

Track food and progress. To manage temptations it’s important to be aware of what and how much you are eating. That means tracking food daily and recording results such as weight, measurements and energy levels each week. I do good with this for 1 meal or 1 day ..I seem to forget to keep at it everyday or every week.

I have seen different blogs online from others who decided that to stay accountable to themselves took lots of pictures. Some took selfies everyday, others took pictures of their feet on bathroom scales every week, and others took pics of their daily food. Not sure but think I will be doing a mixture of all 3 types of photos for this challenge. Hey I like taking photos.
