Catching Up Is Hard to Do - Part 6, 6th Week in Pucallpa - Market Scenes
Saturday, September 28, 2019
August 11th was raiiny, so we stayed home from church, and enjoyed the cooler air that comes with the rain.
On the 13th of August I had Josue take us to the local market at Yarina for some produce. This is where we usually enter.
And this is the prefered produce vendor, although there are many - Levi knows these people.
We got some chicken, but not from this particular vendor. I stayed with our produce in the motokar while Nora went to another poulterer who gives her a better price.
We went to another section to look for lower priced fruits - bananas and papaya especially.
After lunch, Anghelo came with me to the internet.
Now, there is something silly about Kitty. He likes to nuzzle shoes.
He also prowls along the tops of the brickwork, and drops down onto the microwave so he's at face level to complain to me that it's about time I give him some food.
But he is very much my cuddle boy.
On the 17th we were out and about again on a hot day, shopping at Tottus, so we stopped for raspadillas again.
Always enjoyable to treat the family.
