Some of the great-grands came to visit.

We had an unexpected visit from the one year old when his mom encountered a last minute sitter problem. Daddy picked him up when he got off work in the afternoon.
In the afternoon the three year old's mom dropped him off, as expected, while she went to work. Daddy picked him up at night when he got off work.
So we had little ones from 8AM to 11 PM. They are very active but not hard to look after. Does this count as extra exercise? It was nice when the one year old took a morning nap, and the three year old fell asleep (a little unwillingly) before his Dad came at night.

The one year old had a cough and runny nose, Mom (who works in the medical profession) said it was an ear infection. The three year old was coughing and was on his fourth day of antibiotics, Supposedly they were not contagious. I usually avoid germy people because I catch everything.

The three year old loves anything with wheels. We have a lot of hot-wheel size vehicles and a mutli-story garage with ramps (not much parking going on there so not sure if it's called a garage). It keeps us both busy. He loves to use the top of my rollator (walker with a seat) to park his cars. He is fasinated with the rollator, pushing it everywhere. Anything with wheels!
Later he and I read a lot of stories. Good activity to slow the pace a bit! And yes, he is sitting on the rollator while we read the books.

I rarely drink soda because I am trying to drink more water. We really like our well water. Can I blame the lapse on trying to keep up with toddlers?

I saw this on Facebook recently:

"1 soda a day for a month..and just look at the amount of sugar u consume!! Over 4lbs of sugar from just that 1 drink a day... that's not good for you... is it time to make a change?"

Even with the day going differently than planned, I stayed within my calorie range. Started with a healthy breakfast. Can't say the rest was as planned.

I am trying to eat more fatty fish (salmon, mackerel, herring, lake trout, sardines, and albacore tuna) because it's on the list of top foods for several conditions (Hashimotos, arthritis, etc). I had salmon and peppers for breakfast to make sure I had them before the little ones changed my day.
We still have an abundance of garden fresh tomatoes and peppers. They are so yummy.
