The little things!

Thinking about my lifestyle change, I realize it is the little things that have contributed to my success.
If you are struggling with starting or maintaining your progress, start by making a list of the things you want to change. Then work through the list one little change at a time. Wait until you are confident the move has become a habit before adding the next thing on your list.
For example: When I first started my changes were very small. Adding vegetables to lunch and dinner was where I started. Once this became a habit, then I looked at removing — starch from one meal. When I was ready to add exercise, I started with small steps of 15 minutes per day constant activity, and then increased every two weeks by 15 minutes until I reached a total of 60 minutes per day.
