Day 81 - The Little Things

Sometimes it's the little things that make you happy on this journey. Old (smaller) pants fit again, the seat belt fits across your hips without rolling, your thighs don't rub together as much, you conquer a physical limitation. There are so many things, if we just pay attention.

Yesterday I was so proud of myself because I actually had the courage to jog, on the treadmill, at the gym...in front of everyone. Ok, it was only for barely 1 minute, but I didn't fall off, I could still breathe, and I didn't break my ankle. lol Well today I beat that. I jogged for 1 minute at 19, 39, and 59 minutes. And, it wasn't so bad. I recovered nicely each time and boy did I ever feel great afterwards. I know it's just a little thing, whoopty doo, 3 whole minutes, but it really means something to me. I proved to myself that I can push myself further physically and I won't break. Let's see what tomorrow brings.
