Well, I've now lost 14.6 lbs since I started this again a month ago. I'm happy with that! That's 2 1/2 lbs a week. Not too fast. And I'm not really dieting, I'm just cutting back and eating smaller more often. And NO SUGAR!!! I thing making lifestyle changes is best. Will be easier to maintain later.
Blood sugars are staying stable, that's good news! And I went for a consult about a heart cath, he said I don't have a need for it right now! So happy to hear that!
My DH has decided to join me in this plan as he needs to lose 50 lbs! He's doing great. usually has gravy with every evening meal, but hasn't had it for a week. He's starting to lose...I hope to be looking good for my 73rd birthday in November!
