Exercise Journey

Today I have decided to start my exercise journey. REACHED GOAL I have reached my weight loss goal. I've been maintaining for 5 months. Exercise is sketchy. I need to become more consistent. 65 NEED TO BUILD MUSCLE AND STRENGTH I know that at my age, exercise is extremely important. At this point my doctor says I have a weak heart. He will not clear me for a trainer. So I know I need to exercise on my own to improve my heart. My muscles are also weak. SO IT'S TIME No more excuses. It's time to get going. I've fooled around long enough. I will start with walking. I even have a walking/strength training video that I can do at home. PRAYER Lord I come to you and ask for motivation to start exercising. Just like you gave me the strength and will-power to lose 145 pounds, I ask for the same help to exercise. Give me a plan, I will follow. I know you can heal my heart, but I have to do my part. As your Word says, "Faith without works is dead." Thank you sir. In the name of Jesus.

    Congratulations on reaching your goal weight and an extra congrats for maintaining that loss. Maintenance is more difficult that losing. I agree, exercise is important. While I get sufficient aerobic activity, I need to up my game on strength training and stay consistent. Keep on Sparking and keep on motivating others!

    So true! Faith without works is dead! Try checking out the chair exercised they have here. They are not as strenuous but they are a good cardio workout. Slowly build up to what you can do and your heart should strengthen as well as your body! But clear it with your doctor first.
