I walked to Oklahoma today

Friday, September 13, 2019

There wasn't much going on at the end of the bridge over the river (sign said the livestock sale was every Monday at 9 am), so I turned around and walked back to Arkansas. But at least I can say I've been in Oklahoma. Still an open question whether I'd claim that when answering those facebook questions that ask you to put a check mark next to the places you've been, because I didn't spend any money there, and literally went over the bridge, off the exit, and jumped on the road on the ramp coming the other way. There was a pretty sad sight next to that on ramp, a dead monarch butterfly, which was providing a feast for a horde of ants, which you can see here:

Picked up a shift for Sunday, so I guess I'll do some touristing tomorrow afternoon. There's a Freddie Mercury tribute act playing at a place a few blocks away, so that is an option for Saturday night entertainment.

emoticon once had a layover in the international area London airport, but could not even step outside... do consider it as having been to England although that was the sum of the 1 hour experience, and to this day, would like to go back to visit... at work, we used to push pin where we shipped packages... it is interesting and makes me sometimes understand there is so much beyond where I live.... it's very interesting... if I ever won the big one... I would ramble the world...
