Drove through the Ozark range in northwest Arkansas en route to Fort Smith, Arkansas. Couldn't help thinking about the Netflix show I watched a few episodes of a whole ago. Maybe I should more of it, you know, while I'm in the neighborhood? So I'm here because three people in the clinic I'm posted at were sent home early. Not sure why, entirely, but one of the docs here is of the toe I actually like working with, with a lot of questions, a lot of demands, but definitely interested in making the system better. It can't always be done, whether sure to system limitations, or specific choices made by the organization. But I can sympathize with these docs, not least because I often agree with them. Again, I'm not sure what went on with the previous people, but she didn't seem particularly impressed with those who were here before. I stayed a bit later with her, shows a couple small tricks. Didn't think it was much but she seemed to appreciate it. Looks like it's only going to be 6 or 7 days of work, as this clinic isn't open on the weekend. Will have to figure out something to do. Seems like there's a historic fort 10 minutes away, might go see what that's all about.

Ft Smith is about 25-30 minutes from Poteau OK where I'm moving. 5 min past there in Heavener at locslal park is a rune stone that predates the USA. Worth a trip there if you want to see ancient history but lots of steps so non-slip shoes for sure.
