Blood sugar readings

Lowest reading in quite awhile. Very tired this morning when I tested. Wonder whether either I did it right, or the machine was on the fritz.

When DH has a super low reading, especially if he's complaining about being tired, I take it again on the other hand or sometime on the upper arm. Take care...

Sometimes my meter has been off, that is why I test through the day, 2-3 times. emoticon

If you felt very tired and could suspect no other cause, your fatigue was likely caused by overly low blood sugar. I always retest immediately when I get an high-high or a low-low reading. A low battery situation could cause your meter to malfunction. If you've owned your meter for over a year this is a real possibility. I owned my re-chargeable battery driven meter for 3 years before it died. My doctor issued me a new one - free of charge since I'm on Medicare and have a senior-advantage plan with my healthcare provider. emoticon

Be mindful of what you're eating & when. Don't want it too low.
