9/11/19 - Bedtime

Wednesday, September 11, 2019

The fitness center has a bunch of dumbbells that are covered in neoprene, and some of them have cracks and tears. Since the beat up ones are going to be thrown away, Diane offered to let us take what we wanted. I dug around and found a pair of mustard yellow colored 10 pound weights. They're showing some wear and look like they've been through the Great Chicago Fire. All things considered, they're in good condition, so I added them to my collection.

I was sitting in the recliner in the living room, and Sami starting meowing. I didn't know what was wrong with her, so I got up to check on her. She jumped in the chair, curled up, and made herself very comfortable. As I type, she's sleeping. =^..^=

The area north of us has had some pretty nasty weather. I'm grateful we've been spared.

Sweet dreams everyone!!!

I love it when either Finn or the kittens curl up on my lap to nap. Right now it is Kizzy, have no idea where her counter part is, just looked, he is on the blanket right beside the recliner. Those 2 are usually pretty close, as Kizzy is a wonderful sister and really does watch out for Shorty.

No wonder Sami was disturbed - you were sitting in her chair at naptime!!!

Nice for them to offer the old weights to you regulars. emoticon
We've had thunderstorms on and off all afternoon and more coming tonight. At least it's cooling off now.
So how are your Cubbies doing?

    That is one savvy cat!!

Getting those weights is awesome! Personally, I think you need to look for a comfy chair for your kitty. emoticon

Hope the storms stay north. Have a nice evening. emoticon
